Update: Pediatric Tamiflu Story
ABC News -- An update to a story that aired on the broadcast Thursday, November 4. Our report on shortages of the pediatric liquid form of Tamiflu said: An Indian company, Cipla says it could deliver a million doses of generic children's Tamiflu in a matter of weeks - at a price 20 percent lower than Roche, the sole US manufacturer of the drug. As noted in our report, this was based on information that appeared in the New York Times. Before citing the Times in our report, ABC News attempted to independently confirm the information, reaching out to Cipla by phone and e-mail several times over the course of two days.
