The first ladys Office confirms that Alexandria, Va.-based Laura Dowling has taken over for Nancy Clarke, who retired earlier this year after three decades on the job . Dowling specializes in floral arrangements with a French flair, out of her design studio Interieurs et Fleurs in Old Town Alexandria.
